Industrias Alegre receives the Yanfeng Award for Supplier Excellence in the Quality category

The large automotive company, a giant with 55,000 employees worldwide, this week presented the awards with which, each year, it recognises its best suppliers. One of the 13 selected companies was Industrias Alegre, which won the award for quality.

Yanfeng Award

Yanfeng, one of the leading global suppliers of the automotive industry, this week recognised the excellent performance of its European collaborators at a gala at which it presented its annual supplier awards. During the ceremony, held on the 15th of June at the European headquarters of the company in Neuss (Germany), a total of 13 companies received the awards. The categories included technology, innovation, service and sustainability. Industrias Alegre was recognised for its quality with a trophy collected by its Chief Quality Officer, Patricia Domínguez. Mónica Alegre, Chief Sales Officer of the company, was also present at the event.

James Bos, Global Procurements Vice-President of the global brand, gave an emotional speech in which he thanked the suppliers for their role in meeting and exceeding the expectations of the major automotive brands. And he added the following: “We want to honour their performance with these awards, particularly at this unique moment in our industry”.

On her return from Germany, Mónica Alegre stressed that those events, which are eminently symbolic, mean a great deal to a family company like the one she represents.

“The fact that they recognise our constant efforts in an extraordinarily competitive sphere like the automotive industry encourages us to continue taking on challenges, and that is particularly reassuring at such a complex time, with so many changes”.

Yanfeng is a leading global brand in the automotive industry, with truly astonishing business figures. For Industrias Alegre, maintaining a relationship of close cooperation with that client is particularly valuable, because both brands are supporting the car manufacturers in their work of exploring mobility which is moving towards sustainable, intelligent models.
